Microsoft Unveils the New Surface Pro X and the Surface Laptop Go

What's with Microsoft selling their devices with paltry storage options? Other laptops in this price range have at least 256GB or even 512GB worth of storage. This is ridiculous.

Ryzen 5 3600 | Nvidia Quadro P400 | Gigabyte B550I Aorus Pro AX | Klevv Bolt XR 2x8GB DDR4-3600 CL18

If you need another reason to pick the lowest end model of the Surface Laptop Go:

-> Fingerprint scanner is not included. It is only on the higher end models.

@LAwLz Any idea how good the SQ2 Processor is?

From what I've heard it's pretty much the same chip as the SQ1. Same CPU, same memory interface, same process node, same ISP, same DSP, same integrated modem (although now supports a newer external modem) and same process node.

The new stuff seems to be a better GPU (Adreno 685 vs 690, no idea how big of a change that is) and slightly updated WiFi and Bluetooth.

Maybe a slight overclock on the CPU.

ehhh... That and the Magic Keyboard would cost about ~$1000. For that price you could get a SLGo and an iPad. Over the Pro X though is a much better argument IMO.

but the surface laptop will only be good for two things out of three, work and entertain. Plus it only makes sense if you go for the mid tier, which costs as much as the air with 256GB of storage.

Keyboard: you still have better value options from the likes of Logitech.

Personally I'd pick a 64GB  iPad Air with a Logitech Folio keyboard over any Surface product currently available.

Or a 128GB cellular iPad (just iPad, not air or pro) with a Logitech Folio keyboard for almost the same price as the config above.

One day I will be able to play Monster Hunter Frontier in French/Italian/English on my PC, it's just a matter of time... 4 5 6 7 8 9 years later: It's finally coming!!!

Phones: iPhone 4S/SE | LG V10 | Lumia 920 | Samsung S24 Ultra

Laptops: Macbook Pro 15" (mid-2012) | Compaq Presario V6000

Other: Steam Deck
