Do I need a RGB Fan Controller(s) for this build?

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Not_Terry0/saved/HPnGLk

This is my current in progress build ,am I am planning to throw in 13 fans to mirror a design seen in this video although I only plan on ordering 10 Corsair fans as that is all I need. Do I need a Hub for the RGB Fans, or a RGB Controller? if I do, how many controllers or which one should I get for this build?

Nope, just be sure you're plugging into the right headder. You have 2x 5v RGB and 2x 12v RGB headers on that motherboard. Plugging 5v into 12v will fry the strip. 12v just won't work at all on 5v.

The fans (including their RGB), can all connect as-is, assuming the Arctic cooler comes with a splitter cable of its own.

The QL120 3 packs come with a Node Core controller, that allows you to connect 6 RGB fan headers to it, which then connects to the your motherboard's USB 2.0 front panel header.

So of course, 6 fans each; means you need to use both the Node Core modules and connect to both your USB 2.0 header.

Then you have 10 fans to connect to the motherboard (I assume you will swap out the Arctic AIO fans for the Corsair fans?).

The board comes with 8 fan headers, spread across the board. Unfortunately, Arctic doesn't show how the fans are connected; but usually that is done using a fan splitter cable (as the manual for that cooler suggests to only use a single fan header on the board).

That means three fans are taken care of via one header, leaving 7 header for 7 fans. It's almost like it's made for each other!

See this diagram for an overview on how to connect all the fan stuff:

You may want to get at least a single PWM splitter cable, so you can avoid using the fan header that's right there in the middle of your motherboard, or the one under the RAM slots. Those would be a little more difficult to cable manage.

Be sure to double check:

- If the Arctic cooler comes with a fan splitter (it probably does, just can't find any confirmation if you can easily change the fans)

- Check if these are the best fans for your setup. I am not really all too much into fans, so not sure how QL fares against LL for example.

Did you even check if Corsair products works on 12v/5v RGB header? (spoilers: they don't, which is why many boards include a JRGB/Corsair RGB header).

Even if they did work on that, these fans come with hubs themselves, that plug into a USB 2.0 header (NOT an RGB header).

Normally I wouldn't post such a salty response, but I think it's poor forum etiquette to say "lmgtfy" and then post wrong information.
