Thanks for the response, LF II 280 fits my budget good, just one question, hows the quality of the product since it will be running almost for days some times, also how it compares with聽kraken x63

You can check out GN's review of the LF II, where he tested the 280mm variant. The Kraken X63 doesn't seem to be present in the charts, but the 360mm X72 and 280mm X62 are,聽and the LF outperforms the 360mm聽by a couple degrees in the noise normalised test, despite the surface area deficit:

When testing with the fans running at full speed, the LF II 280mm is on par with the X62 and X72 cooling-wise, while being much quieter:

Regarding quality, I haven't heard of any widespread issues with the Liquid Freezer II, but granted it hasn't been out for very long yet.聽

Here's a teardown of the whole unit, if you're interested:

Please help me to select an AIO for Ryzen 3900X, My case is NZXT H510, Mid overclocking, main thing is that I render a lot of 4K files & AE VFX so long render times, 100% load for long time.

Also please help me select good case fans (non rgb preffered馃槣)

Thank You!

Liquid Freezer II or EK-AIO, 240mm and up. Especially since you don't seem to be much into RgB, I'd also consider air cooling.

have that CPU聽and boy it heats a lot...you'll ned 360mm,and if the budget is not an issue kraken X72 is your best bet...awesome performance.

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,聽 it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

You don't need a 360mm AIO for a 3900X, that's nonsense. If that was the case, it wouldn't come with a stock cooler in the first place. I've even seen people cool it with an NH-L9a.

According to GN's testing, the X72 is outperformed by the EK-AIO and LF II by a pretty noteworthy聽margin.

you are not owner of one so please excuse me...under full load CPU goes around 90 C which is a lot,and he will be using like he said 100% load for hours...240 mm is not enough,I have it,and he needs 360 mm..end of story.bye.

No, I just own a chip that actually pulls more power聽and runs hotter.

If you take a look of Gamers Nexus CPU cooler benchmark (3950X OC at 100% load), both Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280聽/ 360 and EK AIO 360 perform better than NZXT Kraken X72. Even EK AIO 240 performs better than X72.

Anyway, both Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 / 360 and EK AIO 360 are solid choices for 3900X. EK AIO聽is easier to mount and has five year warranty instead of Arctics two years聽while聽Arctic Liquid Freezer II is much cheaper (if you can get one).

I see those stunt using an L9a for the 3900x. I really prefer not to use such small cooler for this CPU. On the other hand, if the ambient temp is not high, e.g. 20C, a 240mm AIO is indeed good enough. It probably will hit mid 70C with stock CPU. OC is another story though.

Price to performance, yes. Reliability and warranty, no.

90C with what? Prime 95?

I run Blender. It maxs out at 72C with a 280mm rad. If one uses a 240mm rad, mid 70C.
