Arctic Alpine 12 CO / Antec A30 cooler for an i7 2600k

Xolin

Hello,

I currently have a Thermaltake Silent 1156 CPU cooler, one push pins on my cooler broke when trying to put it in the motherboard.

When I push the cooler with my finger the temperatures are just fine. When I leave the cooler the temperatures reach 80 degrees and above.

Is there any solution other than buying a new CPU cooler?

If there is no choice, how good are the Arctic Alpine 12 CO and Antec A30 for 2600k?

Which according to the manufacturer is suited for up to 95w~100w tdp, the 2600k has a 95w tdp.

So in theory they should work fine together but in reality do you guys think it will be adequate? My case is restricted for airflow and has no ventilation at the front. There is only some ventilation on the side panel directly opposite the cpu cooler and mounting holes for a 90mm case fan at the rear.

I won't be overclocking. I'm looking for a cheap solution that will do the job on stock settings.

I have an Arctic Alpine 12, personally unless budget required it (and yes they are affordable AF) I would go with something a little more robust than that due to the lack of airflow.  However if that is your only option it should work at stock settings.

Your broken cooler can most likely be fixed with zip ties.

I will try it.

I am attaching two videos.
