Only reason I posted it - Im in the market for 50ft cables of quality to ensure accurate display to my CCTV surveillance recording system I just ordered

Only if they’re of usable quality.  Not all HDMI cables are created equal.  It is real possible to make a cable of such poor conductivity that I can barely push to 6 feet. The “wire” could be nylon wrapped with foil for example.  If it’s the same material as used in a 50’ cable it’s going to be of decent quality.   I see no indication it is the same stuff though.  A 50’ cable will need high gauge copper wire to have a low enough impedance at 50’ to be able to draw a screen. It might even be optical, which is a totally different technology and doesn’t use wire for most of the length of the cable.

I have yet to order a cable from Newegg and it not perform as expected, or I wouldn't post this - I buy cables constantly, at these prices, and have yet to have this issue.  

 

I mean, Link Depot (the brand) is sold everywhere so I think its safe to say they will work as advertised.  Heck a quick google results for "Link Depot Cables" show 4.5 -5 star reviews across the board, so I would say - easily a safe purchase at the price.

So it is a comment based on purchase history from manufacturer and reseller.  OK.  It seems more is getting read into the question than was intended to be there. You said you found some wildly inexpensive cables.  I attempted to verify that wildly inexpensive cables were not also just wildly cheap cables.  Such things exist.
