what to do about damaged M.2 SSds

So I bought 2 corsair mp600 drives the other day on craigslist( tested working).  and they were sitting on my desk. When I got back they looked like this(picture below).I believe my little brother mistook them for toys or something. One has some PCB completely off and one is chipped in a similar spot.Is there any way to salvage these whether to fix or do you think they'd be worth anything for parts?  I'm quite upset because I dropped $350 on these.

Definitely no way to fix the ssds themselves, but you may be able to harvest the heatsinks off them (idk if they are worth anything though) or sell them to a board repair shop. They might be willing to buy them if they can use them as donor boards. But you likely wont get much for them.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

its missing an contact for sure, and who knows what traces - if you wanted to you could plug it in and see if that pin was needed.

 

From what Im reading, if Im correct in this, that is the define module contact missing (what kind of SSD is this Im talking to, asks the CPU) and the ones next to it are ground, power, ground.  Not sure if this would fry your system trying.
