Help picking a sh*t PSU (don't have other options)

PantherZalayeta

Hello, my PSU died (CM Real Power Pro 850) I'm from Uruguay and we literally have 6-7 PSU on the market between all vendors is pretty sad :/ I know because of the tier list these are all bad but which one is the best among them?

Deepcool DA600 Bronze

Gigabyte P650 Bronze

CM MWE 750

Thermaltake Smart 700

Corsair VS650

Thanks!

I would go with the Gigabyte or Deepcool just for the efficiency but I might be missing something the PSU gurus will spot :P

what MWE? white or bronze (i'm going to assume it's not the gold.) but if it's the white/bronze V2, then that's a decent option.

if it's the V2, then it'll do the job.

though what are you powering? you can probably save some money and go with a lower wattage version of it.

oh yea, a 550w or a 450w MWE white V2 will be more than enough.

keep in mind that the tier list is more of a guideline, and is basically the result of reading a bunch of reviews afaik. it shouldnt be considered a definitive list of what's actually good and bad, but more as a way to steer you towards what to research. i'd always check reviews for a given unit myself before making a decision

Hi, was looking closely at that one and I read that many people have problems with coil whine and bad capacitors :/ even in V2

Hi

The v2 is fine.

Not sure about bad caps though.

For the most part it should fine.

Good job.  Those are probably the WORSE two choices of that line up.
