I am building a computer, and need help for CPU choice

For 10600k, and future chips. Nothing over 300, and preferably with WiFi.

Sorry about not quoting. I don't use the forum much. What would a good motherboard be for 10th gen Intel? Also, what is the price difference between 10700k, and 10600k? I could disable hyperthreading for 10700k for higher clocks, but the 10600k would have much lower clocks.

Ok, and the 10600k is about 300. Is is worth getting the 10700k for an extra $100, and the extra performance, or nah?

Should I post a new topic for a good motherboard, or do you happen to know a good overclocking one under 300?

i would get the 3700x or 3800XT from AMD.

10700k is better at games but it uses much more power, heats a lot more and is not as good as 3700x is workloads due to high thremals.

with 3700x you can go with cheap aftermarket cooler and entry level b550/x570 board and you will be fine.

but with 10700k you need expensive cooling and mothertboard (even more expensive if overcloking). with the cost of 10700k and it's platform you can get AMD ryzen 9 3900X/XT and it's platform

Each and every one of those kinds of videos is fake. If you want real numbers look at gamersnexus or something, but don't use those videos as a point to back up your claims.

I only see your reply if you @ me.
