9900k or 9700k

After a long discussion, I decide to stay with Intel.
I wanted to get my self 3700x with x570 MB, but after checking all options, I decided that it is not the best suitable option for me. 
I was unable to find a proper MB that will suit me well, as well that will not have a chipset Fan, which all X570 Have. 
Now all I am trying to decide is which CPU to get.
I already decided to get Asus Rog Maximus XI Hero Wifi for the MB. 

 I know 9700k don't have ThermalThreading, 
9900k better option compared to it. 
But I am not sure with regard to future-proofing.
I mean, they now producing the 10xxx CPUs with 1200 chipset. 

So I would appreciate your thoughts on that.

And I know that AMD CPU coming out like very soon, and the 3900x might be a better option.
But like I said, the MB variety is not that best, especially MB having a fan, and you never know, when it will fail, or start making a huge noise (especially when I am very sensitive to)

You could always go with a B550 board unless you absolutely need X570?

 

Looking at prices, I can see the 9700K and 10700K cost pretty much the same, so unless you already have the board or boards are a lot more expensive, I'd probably go with the 10700K. The performance difference is pretty small though.

The options I have here for this MB, is not what I would like. Which is why I went back to Intel option.

And no, It not only for gaming, i play hardly 3-4 games.

I just love a high end PC builds, specialy when in future a better games will comeout, I will be able to play them.

Few games, Movies, Coding. 

 

I love highend pc builds. 

It give me a feels, that in 1-2 years when a good and demanding game will comeout, I will be able to play it, without any issues.

What about b550? Lanes that are connected to the cpu are gen 4. And it's a good platform.

B550 is still an option. 

I wouldn't go with coffee lake. Considering it's a bad platform. Won't get updated, and is is in a way dead. Either wait for zen 3. Or get zen 2 or comet lake.

Why not get the 10700k? It's probably cheaper than the 9900k.

That, or grab a higher end B550 board if you want to go Ryzen and don't want to deal with the fan.

Isn't the x570 aorus extreme chipset without a fan? If he wants to stick with x570

A quick check says 10700K is about the same as a 9700K, so yes a lot cheaper than 9900K. At least in Europe.

 

I would also suspect that in the future you can put a 11700K on a 1200 socket, while socket 1151 isn't going to get new CPUs anymore. Same story with X570/B550, both should accept Zen 3 CPUs in the future. So both platforms have an upgrade path, while 1151 does not.

What's the PC for? AMD is better at multi-threaded workstation tasks, and has a better upgrade path so that when future games come out you can upgrade to play them, not the computer will need upgrading for some time.

usesl ess power than any intel 10th/9th then cpu (well i3's and some i5's use a bit less power than 3700x)

3700x runs much coooler than any intel 10/9th gen i7 or i9 cpu.

with 3700x you can buy cheap motherbaord and cooler and still be fine,

with 10700k/ 9900k you will need expensive cooling and mothertboard. With the price of 9900k's or 10700k's motherboard and cooler you can afford ryzen 9 3900x or even 3900XT

The LGA1200 technically has more of an upgrade path than the B550/X570.

Those are the tops I can buy In Israel, as well as from New Egg that shipped to Israel. 

I don't have a budget, I decided to waste as much as needed this time on PC, to be happy with it.

As my last Build with 4790k didnt made me happy. 

And I suffer now with some issues.

A pro. Are all really good. If you're only limited to these two. The aorus master is just better but the e uses 14 sic639's iirc in pairs so it's also decent. It's just usually overpriced. The strix f is cheaper and is generally also decent.

Because the aorus master uses the same vrm as a the aorus extreme (a 500 dollar board). Which is 14 70a smart power stages. While the e uses 14 sic639's which are 50a Drmos (dumb mosfets). So the aorus master is a lot better. 

But every board I listed above is good.
