That site seems like a scam. One of those items said it was a Galaxy GTX 770 (384-bit) with a blue Zalman cooler and green PCB...

Not to mention a VGA port...

These are obvious patent cards. It's clearly not GTX 680. Don't trust that scum.

Yeah, $80 for a new (non-functioning) GPU and a free pack of viruses courtesy of U. Jusgott Skammed. As they say, if it looks too good to be true, then don't believe it.

It's a scam if i ever saw one, these look like old gt series cards with BIOS mods to make them show up as GTX6xx series cards. The only thing with the most amount of credibility is the 170$ 650 TI, it actually doesn't have a VGA port, but it still doesn't hold up .

Seriously a 7950 with 2 Gb vram, and 720 stream processors? How do these even exist?

Don't buy anything from that site.

Spoiler

Case Bitfenix Ghost, Mobo Asus Maximus VIII Ranger, CPU i7 6700K @4.2 Ghz cooled by Arctic cooling Freezer i30, (barely). GPU Nvidia GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 @1519Mhz core, RAM 16Gb Crucial Ballistix CL16 @2400Mhz. SSD 128GB Sandisk Ultra Plus as my OS drive. HDD's  1TB  Seagate ST31000524AS its OEM, 3TB Seagate Barracuda, 2x 500GB WDC Blue (RAID 0)

If it isn't working absolutely perfectly, according to all your assumptions, it is broken.

A friend of mine got a Gigabyte GTX 680 Windforce for $40 recently, but he also got it from a trustworthy vendor. This looks like a scam.

Aliexpress is legit in the same way that eBay is legit. It is a known and trusted website, that someone asks about here on this forum about once a week.

All they do is give sellers a place to post up their products, some of the sellers are going to scam you, just like sellers on eBay will, simply use common sense.

In a nutshell, yes a $70 GTX680 is a scam.
