4k Monitor or high refresh rate for gaming

Or else get a nice 120Hz IPS 3440x1440 ultrawide.

Hmm... I have a few used monitors here, and one of which is a really nice wide screen Dell monitor, but I also may look at getting a new monitor at some point for playing shooting games and racing games and things of that nature as the person above stated like need for speed and all the others that he mentioned; specifically the new assassin's Creed, and a couple others including (Titanfall, was it???) and possibly another one that I can't think of at the moment that I received for free off of Newegg... My price budget is I don't know, has to be cheap yet reliable, that's all I care... If I had to guess at price though, I have no idea what prices are so I'm going to guess maybe $200 or $300 at most, when I eventually get to upgrading my monitor if I ever decide I need to... I'm not even sure what the reason would be to get a new monitor but everybody talks about gaming monitors being better so I guess... Oh, in case anyone is wondering my current monitor is a "Dell P2212Hb"
