hey guys,

I just got the Corsair vengeance 16 gb ddr4 3200 ram, and I just realized it says supports intel cpu. Does that mean it wont work with my AMD Ryzen 5 2400G?

Once you have installed it, go into the BIOS to confirm correct detection & look through the DOCP options to confirm 3200MHz is available.

Can I realistically call myself a gamer, if I only play ONE, twenty year old game...?

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

I just installed the ram and when I turn on my pic it keep saying it booted into safe mode. I manually put my ram on 3200 speed but I’m still stuck on the safe mode screen

When you make changes to the BIOS do you press F10 & y(es)...?

Does the machine boot to desktop when you Load Default Settings in the BIOS?

The default profiles for ram can be kinda trash a lot of the time, however if you manually set the speed you might just need to bump the voltage on your ram up a bit to make it more stable

Yes it does

Did you just get the 'DRAM Frequency' setting to DDR4-3200, OR did you actually enable A-XMP / XMP / DOCP?

You can't *JUST* set it to DDR4-3200...you need to adjust the voltage and memory timings.

When you enable A-XMP / XMP / DOCP, it sets all those for you.

Is that "Target CPU Speed" an over clock or standard boost...?

The RAM settings look OK.
