My pc crashes whenever i play games. And heaven benchmark

Im running a MSI Armor RX 570 4gb.
The reason for undervolting is bc whenever I play games or run gpu benchmarks, my system crashes. Pls teach me how to undervolt. Watching youtube videos are confusing as they can be. Sorry im a newbie.

My rig:
Ryzen 5 3600
Rx 570
Corsair lpx vengeance 1x8gb 3200mhz
Aerocool psu 500w
Tuf b450m gaming plus motgerboard

**nothing is overclocked except RAM

Windows 10 pro.

HELP PLSSS.

I can play witcher 3 and valorant for like 3hours and then it will crash randomly. When I try to turn it back on. Pc will just turn on, then immediately off, then on again, then off until it boots up.

Do i have a gpu or psu problem. I need to know before spending money.

Additional info abt this post. (My older post with video and pictures) please i really need your help:

When troubleshooting, turn off all overclocks. Turn off XMP (if enabled)

Likely a PSU. Are you getting a BSoD or just a power loss?

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

That psu name sounds already like a bomb, so most probably a psu problem.

Is it even a real 500w? If you can, send a full picture of the psu label.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Get rid of any overclock

Like xmp etc

If the crashes occur after that try setting your GPU power limit to something lower like 80% and then try.

Use something like msi after burner

Why do i need to powerlimit my gpu? Does my psu cant handle the consumption? I mean 500w is enough

That isn't even that terrible, 420 w for the cpu and gpu combined should be enough? But ill leave it to the psu expert @LukeSavenije to give the final verdict.

Luke, basically his pc crashes all the time, and imo that terrible terrible psu is the cause, but idk, the specs seem good enough, unless they outright lie on the package.

from what I've seen... info is limited, but there are a couple things I can see from the specs

  • would (somehow) meet c6/c7 sleep states, which is... everything considered impressive
  • has a basic set of protections (UVP/OVP/OPP/SCP, with a lack of OCP/OTP)
  • looks very much like a groupreg due to it's limited wattage on 12v
  • completely unreviewed
  • looking from the back... possibly Andyson? (take this with a grain of salt, it's barely based off anything)
  • not something I'd personally use with this system on the longer term

if you can, replace it on the longer term

budget ?

cx450 is what i would go for

something cheaper but wont explode

vs 450 / 550 ( if you can afford the cx go for that.)

MWE bronze V2 ( as said above if you can afford the cx450 then get that)
