Low cinebench score, can anyone explain?

Hey there, hope you guys have a lovely evening.

Just a small question, I have a ryzen 7 3700x, running on stock speeds with the stock cooler, on a asus ROG x570-f motherboard.
I had to run cinebench R20, but my score is a bit low, or at least i think it's low. My score is; 4462pts.

I have XMP enabled at 3600Mhz ram with CL18 timing.

 

Is this normal?

Nothing overclocked just the stock speeds.

Hope one of you can help!

PS. Nothing running in the background.

Tiny bit under average but that may be because of things running in the background during the bench.

I found an old result of mine on a 3700X at fixed 4.3 GHz, scoring 5113. Assuming linear scaling, that would put your effective clock at 3.75 GHz. Did you look at the clock while it was running? If it was around 3.75 GHz on all cores, that would be in line with my result. If it was running higher clock at the time, your score would be lower than expected.

Looks 'dark brown' so it may well be.

Its around 3.8 till the low 3.9Ghz's

Close enough I think. I do try to optimise heavily when running benchmarks so my result should be closer to best case. Without some additional optimisation, a little variation in score downwards is not unexpected.

Seems normal-ish at bone stock my 3800x achieved 4,925
