begs the question, why aren't PCBs also RGB

The title was clickbait, this really isn't a great idea at all.

 

You wouldnt even see the RGB!

Plus, how do you expect to be able to run a wire out of them to an RGB controller?

You would need very tiny wires, which would be a mess.

Why are my eyes not rgb ?

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad. 

 

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

 

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).

That would make for a nice subtle motherboard underglow which would be quite nice when there's no other lighting in the case ... but you could probably achieve that with a simple rgb strip so ...
