How to fix purple screen on my (Pocophone F1)

Why my Pocophone F1 is showing purple shades on dark mode specially. I don't see this on white backgrounds or even in pure black backgrounds. Is my display dying?? I reported the issue to Xiaomi but they didn't respond 😢.

If it can be captured via a screenshot, I can't imagine the display itself is dying. Have you tried a factory reset?

If you're using night mode, that might be intentional. Night mode shifts the display's colors toward the red end of the spectrum, and the added red light could make dark areas look purple.

The screenshots you posted are fine.

I opened a few of them in Photoshop and the color in the highlighted area is the same as the center, and there's no more color in the R or B channel to make it purple, it's all greys and black.

That means if you DO see purple, it's the physical screen that is having issues.

Then maybe I'm screwed. The purple thing doesn't always shows up I will take a photo if I see them noticeablly. I'm not understanding one thing is that if it is the physical display I should see them in every background. But I'm only seeing them in dark mode or grey background. Thanks for checking. There might be some physical damage. Don't know.
