Best and fastest way to test GPUs

Cheex18

Hi All,

im in position to buy a bunch of GPUs from a seller (friend) who gets amazon returns. I’m going to ask him to please test each GPU before I buy them because I hate this awkward “you sold me a busted card” and for the price I’m getting them we’ve agreed that I’m buying as is but lately it’s been a 50/50 so I would like a test to be done before. Since he has so many I don’t want to take too much of him time so I want a standard one application test.

question:

what is the best benchmark to run for testing a GPU

unigen heaven

superposition

maybe a game like GTA

thoughts, I’m just trying to get the card hot and see if it artifacts, cuts out.

Furmark would also be a good one to use.

As far as games go, Battlefield 1 on 4k ultra settings at 60fps or high will certainly make it get hot.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

I’d just use a simple unigine benchmark. Unless they are willing to get a large game and sit there all day with each card.

I'd just use Heaven. Run it for a few minutes so the fans can ramp up. That way you know if there's issues with the cooler or bad coil whine, and by the time you've done that you've also established if it's stable

That's an F in the profile pic
