well if it is a laptop that is normal. if it is a dekstop try applying new thermalpaste and re mounting the cooler

full system specs? (Including case and any fans) Have you tried stress testing/ benchmarking? Problems like this in other games?

How old is your laptop? Is it on a hard surface, and have you cleaned it out? Also how old is it? The thermal paste could be on its way out.

If you take 15 seconds to google it, it states on AMD's site that the max temp is 90C, so it in fact is not normal. It is too hot.

If the only fan in your case is an exhaust right next to the CPU, no wonder it overheats. The cooler's fan is choked for air.

Until you can get some new fans, move that fan from the rear to the front or bottom and have it set up as an intake.
