I've seen a bot like this happen on some of my recent videos but I've always removed it as it seemed like spam and it looks now like the channel that was doing it on mine is gone.

BS or not, users should always proceed with caution whenever they came across something like this. The thing is, should others be warned about it, that's another matter. Some will appreciate your warning, some wont and don't seem to care, so let their accounts get hacked to teach them a lesson on not to just randomly interact and click on things.
