1) psychology is a REAL science

2) social psychology =/= sociology

It's easy to be a stock photo model. You just get a mate with professional photography equipment, sign a contract to let them release the images how they see fit, pose doing what ever they ask, and get paid! Then companies can buy your pictures (or videos) to use in their commercial content.

 

It doesn't matter what you look like, that's just for glamour magazines. Advertisers or news stations want people to look more normal, so they seem more in touch with the average viewer.

Bit late of a reply to this thread but oh well.

 

Basically...it's my name. Daniel Learmouth, all schmooshed up into one and with no capitals.

The caveat to that, however, is that it's sometimes misconstrued as Danielle Armouth......that's always fun.

 

Alternatively, I refer to myself in some games as Tentafool, pairing up a Tentacool with the Fool Arcana. I made a Facebook page out of it and it stuck.

It was late at night and I started putting in all of the 3 letter words for my account username I knew to see if they were taken. On the 4th or 5th try, I found this username unclaimed to my surprise and decided to take it.

I concocted my username one night while trying to think of a techy sounding yet creative make you think I know what I am doing even though sometimes I don't username.  Then that's when I thought of this Overkill PC build that used crazy cool components but a lackluster motherboard.  So then it hit me, "HEY Humble and motherboard...wait!  hold the phone! Motherboard can be MOBO OH MY GOD THAT'S PERFECT HUMBLEMOBO!!!11111"  And that children is where my username came from...not very interesting lol I'm not gonna lie but if I put that disclaimer at the beginning no one would have read it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).  That's why pill manufacturers don't tell you about the side effects and disclaimers till AFTER they show you the amazing deal and their sales pitch lol.
