Hey guys

maybe one of you can help me solve this issue.

Every time I go into sleep mode with my pc the pc wakes up by itself.

Sometimes it is happening in the middle of the night.

I even reinstalled windows 10 pro but it is still happening.

Thanks in advance!

I like to go through the power settings and disable any wake on ethernet activity, if applicable in your case.

I would rule out the following

1. Something plugged in is sendy an input, i've seen this with Sticky keyboards before.
2. wake time is set in you advanced sleep setting

3.scheduled jobs (not in article but you go start>taskschedule>and then review each one... this isn't normally set unless you set this up

Next time it happens run powercfg/lastwake in command (you may need to have admin privileges). This will tell you what woke the system from sleep state.

If it's happening in the middle of the night then it's possibly the Windows update orchestrator scheduler. This is the problem I had last week where it just decided to wake itself up from sleep at 1am to search for updates >.>

If that is what is causing it to wake you can disable it from Task Scheduler. Find the service (Microsoft > Windows > Update Orchestrator)

Or you can disable the system from being woken from sleep from scheduled tasks altogether from the Power plan settings > Advanced power plan options > Sleep > Set Allow Wake Timers to Disabled.

Though it could be something as simple as mouse moving and waking the system.
