Is this something you have? Are looking to buy?

There are a ton of issues with this build, mainly the $1000 for the 2070 Super you can get for like half of that price.

Well, the BQ isn't bad.  But it sure doesn't compliment that build much. It's a bunch of nice, expensive parts with a mediocre power supply.

It's like you just threw a set of Compass tires on your 2019 Corvette.

I would not go below gold tier 2 psu for a Gaming Rig.

Alright, that makes more sense then :)

Depending on what CPU you might look to upgrade to I would suggest a motherboard upgrade eventually. The PSU should be fine for a while, not top of the line great but not terrible either.

So I should upgrade the mobo? I'm keeping the 2700x for a while I thought I needed a better psu to overclock

The price is weird. 130$ for this? Maybe 60$ at max.

I can recomment my PSU.

If I were you upgrade to a gold psu at least for 600-650 watt psu because a gold psu will keep your bills for your electricity down

And now you give yourself the best answer..Jesus, you love yourself :P

More than 60$ maybe 70$ is unrealistic for a used PSU like this.

Changing power supply won't give you any better performance.

Keep the EVGA BQ. It's fine and now is a terrible time to be buying power supplies with everything that's going on. Prices are high and stock is low.

What does this even mean? What is gold tier 2? Is there a silver tier 2? Why not gold tier 1? Is silver tier 1 better than gold tier 2?

I partially agree, it's not that bad, but i'd definitely recommend to replace it, it's cheap Andyson double-forward platform, same as in Aerocool KCAS Gold, not particularly good choice for build of this magnitude, but wait with that until market would recover a bit, maybe in two months or so, then consult PSU tier list (we made it just for that) or ask again.

You should preferably have ddR4 3200MHz-3600mhz as amd is more ram hungry than intel in this day in age and you can get some Corsair ram with these MHz for about £60-£80 or 70 usd- 100 usd because ddr3 3000mhz will give you a performance dip which you don’t want

thats a new way to say that AMD benefits more from it.

that CPU doesnt do 3600mhz...... in fact most do below 3466mhz. and in that category, 3000mhz and 3200mhz are one of the few XMP speeds worth spending money on.

no it wont. 3000mhz is fine for Zen+. no real point spending extra over it as the gains are minor. also its cl15, so it is in fact better than 3200mhz cl16
