smallest mico atx case?

Matt K

I am attempting to build a pc for my sister and she wants it as small as possible while also being inexpensive, it will primarily be used for web browsing a light photoshop work. (~$400 and keep in mind it wont need a graphics card)  I am having difficulty achieving that budget for mini itx due to the premium on mini itx motherboards, does anyone know of any REALLY small micro atx cases that can somewhat compare to mini itx?

There are budget advantages with micro atx.  Lot of cheap cases out there.  If you want full on SFF you’re not really going to find it cheap though.  SFF has a premium just as itx does.

rosewill fbm -06 is pretty small.  It’s not SFF though.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

The smallest mATX case is probably the Sliger Cerberus - which is about 2/3 of the budget.

SFF & boutique = EXPENSIVE

There are not many good mATX boards for AM4 around and the only one available is ~180-200 bucks

Silverstone PS15, the one with no RGB fans should be available for roughly $50 USD, but prices are all over the place right now on various cases.
