Can get MUCH more for your budget Yeah, I agree on finding cheaper components (not cheapest components). You can find a cheaper PSU of equal reliability and capability. Cheaper NVMe drive (a regular 970 if you want Samsung). Something like a ASUS Tuf X570 if you want X570. And if you check eBay you may find someone that has a bunch of Corsair SL fans they're selling new and freshly pulled from AIOs. Those may still pop up, but they may not now the mining craze is over. Posted April 14, 2020 Author Thank you all. You just suggested a more powerful CPU. Can I use the stock fan? plus I don't have the money for the 2080 super. That's why I linked this: https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/graphics-cards/rtx-2070-super/ - is it a good idea to order it from here? --- This is the build according to my preference and based on feedback. I don't want to change the noctura/case/psu combo - I just choose a less powerful PSU from the same brand. Otherwise it looks good. The Crosshair VIII Hero should only be bought if it is not affecting your GPU purchase decision. If you are getting a 2070S because you are spending more on your case and motherboard then it makes absolutely no sense. Posted April 15, 2020 As others have said your initial build was too expensive for the performance you'd get out of it. For under £2.2k you can get basically everything in your build (3950X, 32GB 3600/CL16 Memory, X570 Board, PCIe 4.0 SSD, 2080 Super, fully modular PSU). To give you the best recommendation, I think that it'd be helpful to know what's important to you. How much gaming/productiviy are you doing? What kind of games (competitive e-sports titles, graphically demanding AAA titles or others?)? How intensive is your prodictivity workload? Do you want synced RGB over all components?
