Can GTX 1650S run VR

So i have been thinking to get the GTX 1650S so.

Can it run VR it will mostly just be plus or do i have to go a bit higher becuse the 1650S is pretty much my highest budget.

Becuse it cost me about 215 USD - 200 EUROs in my own country.

Or would there be any better GPU for that ?

 

Edit; Will a RX 5500 XT be better for VR then ?

I wouldn't recommend vr with this card unless very basic games and applications...anything demanding and it'll tank hard.

If you spend 500+ on a VR headset you really should be able to safe a few months more and get a better GPU. Linus just made a video about that btw

Yes, it's on par with an RTX 580 and will run the average VR headset fine. It's at or above the recommended specs for most headsets and games.

It will do however maybe look into some used options. This card is more than fine for the easier titles like beatsaber and superhot but is the minimum for things like half life alyx.

Yes, it should run VR but you'll most likely have to turn some settings down. I played VR with a weaker RX 570 and it worked okay...Just don't expect to run max detail settings.
