In a very quick and dirty thought process, I would say 500-550.

Performance very similar to original 2080.  That being said, means not far off from 2070S.  But with more VRAM.

El Zoido:  9900k + RTX 4090 / 32 gb 3600mHz RAM / z390 Aorus Master

The Box:  3900x + RTX 3080 /  32 gb 3000mHz RAM / B550 MSI mortar

Depends on the price... if you can find a 1080ti for up to 360 pounds then its not worth it to buy a liquid cooled 1080 at 320.

Bought mine for $400 usd. In great condition. Only got it because I was bored. Was content with a regular 1080 for the most part. I’d always go used for a better card than new for a weaker card.

Main RIg Corsair Air 540, I7 9900k, ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero, G.Skill Ripjaws 3600 32GB, 3090FE, EVGA 1000G5, Acer Nitro XZ3 2560 x 1440@240hz

Spare RIg Lian Li O11 AIR MINI, I7 4790K, Asus Maximus VI Extreme, G.Skill Ares 2400 32Gb, EVGA 1080ti, 1080sc 1070sc & 1060 SSC, EVGA 850GA, Acer KG251Q 1920x1080@240hz

there is this one at 410 pounds I found with a quick search maybe on local tech forums you can find better deals (prefer to test them first though or to get one what still has some warranty on it left) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PALIT-GTX-1080-Ti-GameRock-11G-Gaming-Graphics-Card-11GB-GPU/372990058881?hash=item56d7f0a181%3Ag%3A6jAAAOSw7kFehdWM&LH_BIN=1

but at this pricepoint I would get a rtx 2070 super just for the dlss which will increase your FPS count(and it has comparable framerate with dlssoff anyways sometimes better sometimes worse but only for a couple of frames) .

Yea I saw that but it says it has a fan issue and ideally I want a strix one too as that’s what I have vertically mounted right now, or something with rgb on the fan side.

well the simple answer to your question (based on current ebay prices in the uk) is that you can not....

The seller probably means that the cooling system makes noise not as in broken as in the fans spin and you hear them.. you could ask him though.

Anyway if you want GTX 1080 ti like performance and RGB  and the pricetag to be around 400 pounds then you gotta buy a sapphire RX 5700xt nitro+
