[Unofficial LTT] NZXT H440 Owners Club

The default 140mm fan in the back of my H440 is annoyingly loud, anyone got a suggestion for another one? I'd prefer it to be white or black, without LED's.

Guys, i have had the H440 case the last few months. I have been worrying that dust might get into the audio jacks and usb ports on the case, which might cause problems. Is this something i should be worrying about? I've been wondering whether is there any usb or audio jack rubber caps that can protect it?

Thanks.

It's nothing to worry about but if you are looking for dust covers for both the USB and audio jacks, performancepcs.com has tons of I/O dust covers for sale. In performancepcs search bar type in "dust covers" and tons and tons of different manufacturers will come up that make dust covers for what you are looking for.

Looks good :) But to me the stickers look out of place on the H440 case, I had some on my Current White Phantom 410 and they didn't look right.

I will be keeping the clean aesthetics of the H440 when I do the build in the Red/Black model in the coming months.

Hey there, I was going to buy an H440, but then i saw that there is a new case from NZXT. It's called Noctis 450. Looks like an H440 inside, and like Phantom outside. What do you H440 fans/owners think about that?

I have a H440 ready for my next build, and currently have a Phantom 410 which, don't get me wrong is a nice case for building in. But in the 410 if you haven't got any fans in the top the inside gets very dusty... I ended up getting some fine plastic mesh of ebay to attach with some magnetic tape over the cut-out to keep the dust out. But then the front Noctis 450 fan filter will help to for the most part.

But from the HardwareCanucks and Luke's video's it does look like a very nice case, especially for airflow.

It's more than just 'looks like h440 inside', it's the same thing. The only difference is the outside aesthetics (and the airflow/noise differences that come from the different exterior). I still personally prefer the H440 since I really like the subtly of it. But ultimately it comes down to whichever looks better to YOU.

Guys, what NZXT LED strip would you say is the best for the case, 100cm or 200cm? Thanks.

Neither unless you want spotted light (bright/dark points). An LED strip like a BitFenix Alchemy 30cm strip would be perfect (or pretty much any 30cm LED strip you find on Ebay for a fraction of the price).

Hey guys.

I just got this case as well (black-red variant), however the case fans nor LED works. I have connected the Molex from fan hub to the power supply connector. Triple-checked all connections. I also measured the input at the fan hub, shows 13V, which is normal.

What am I forgetting? :(

Have you connected it to the motherboard header too?

Uhm, no I haven't. I can't remember seeing any cable that would need to go there, but I will double check now.

Scratch that just double checked, it is only made to run at 100%. So there is no mobo connector, my bad

I would plug the fans directly in to the mobo one by one to see if it is them or the controller that has the problem

All the fans work, when connected to the header directly. Guess it must be the hub then.

Though I did not understand the top-left connector (top-right is the rear fan, bottom-left ones are the front fans respectively).

Try connecting the power to the the Fan 1 header (Think it is from the factory) and plug the fans in one by one to see if enough power is being supplied for them all to the run
