@LinusTech Informative video, but how is $600 for 2.5gbe between a NAS and a PC a worthwhile option for anyone?

2 x $50 Trend Net Network cards
1 x $500 switch for 2.5gbe

This is the setup I use.

1 x Dell PowerConnect 5524 10gbe Switch @ $134
2 x Chelsio 10gbe SFP+ NICs @ $35
2 x SFP+ 10gbe network cables @ $30

That's $264 for a STANDARD and enterprise grade 10gbe solution.

What the industry is doing pushing this 2.5gbe Trendnet garbage on consumers should be criminal.  They are even shoving 2.5gbe POE+ switches down the throats of anybody who wants to buy a Wi-Fi 6e Access Point.   Some of them costing in to the thousands.
