5v RGB Hub

zapdroid

Hello everyone, I'm looking to get some more RGB in my PC but my Gigabyte motherboard's two 2A headers aren't enough. I've seen a couple of people reference this first product, and I'm also looking at a second similar product.

Has anyone actually used these and found them to be reliable? Is there any risk of them damaging my PC or RGB products if they fail, or will only the hub itself stop working? I don't value addressable RGB enough to spend much more, which is why these seem to be my only options.
