Posted February 27, 2020 Hello everybody, Hope your doing well. So my friends and I are going to be putting together a server so that we can host our on instances of games ARK, Rust, etc. I say "server" but really I mean the components that came from my last rig. Currently we already have the mobo, and cpu. A friend has bought me a new power supply, my stipulation was that they help contribute to the cause, the other is up grading his memory and sending his old stock. Now on to my initial question. I have currently been running a TT water 3.0 riing 360 as my cpu cooler, it has and continues to perform well. However I want to upgrade to a newer one mostly because I want to possibly achieve an overclock on my i9 9900kf, even better would be to be able to better cool the gpu a RTX 2080super. The GPU cooling is entirely optional. But i feel like in the few years since i got the water 3.0 possibly aio or sir cooling, I'm really not particular to either, I just want the best option for my cpu. I know that I could achieve the best cooling for both with a custom loop. However, that is not in the budget at this time about $250 - 300 usd would really be the max limit that I'd be willing to spend. Also I've never attempted to setup a custom loop and I'm worried I would essentially be creating a lawn sprinkler in my pc case. Any and all suggestions would be helpful. This has literally been keeping me up at night thinking about it. Also as a side not it would be nice if whatever it is is compatible with asus aura sync. It was staying pretty up there in thermals during gaming 70C's and up. Furthermore I Ended up getting the Noctua D15. First impression was that it was freaking huge. I had no ideas that it would be that big... sounds like something " she" might say, but it all seriousness, I had heard it was big but just dang. So far running cinebench I havent really seen it get over 60C's I think top was 58C's. And that was even running with a 5Ghz overclock, just to do it. I resigned it back in to 4.9 Ghz top and dang it if it doesnt just fly. This is my first time showing off a build on the internet. But I hope you all enjoy it.
