Sending an email back and forth is a ton less efficient than live simultaneous edits. I'm unclear on the grading here, is your response the one with the check mark or the boxed one?

I'd fail you just for not rotating the image correctly.

 

Your best bet would be to speak to your teacher and ask why that is considered incorrect. If you do then please update and post their explanation here as I'm also curious.
The only thing I can think of is sometimes projects require also submitting various drafts along with the final project, so if you're just editing a cloud hosted doc you might not have copies of earlier drafts, where with the email copies you could use earlier versions that you sent to each other as draft copies along with the notes that you shared with the changes made? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Edit: Oh wait, woops. I thought C was the answer you selected and A was the "correct" answer.
In that case then C makes more sense as it's easier to update the doc.

You can always ask your teacher why you got it wrong and they can explain their reasoning.

I guess his/her argument would be that your option requires permanent internet access and locks you into a specific solution.

With sending by email, you can continue to work on your own parts and then merge copies and whatnot.

 

My guess... it's just stupid question that's poorly worded and you're rewarded for memorizing something talked talked during course or something like that.

On its own, both A and C are bad ideas (although B and D are even worse ), but what your teacher was going for was probably a 'git commit' scenario, where you both edit a single file and merge them.

That way you have the tasks split out and both do your own thing, without the file having undocumented edits.

 

 But definitely talk to your teacher about this and if it's an important piece for an important test, definitely contact the appropriate parties to get this question eliminated from the test. The question is definitely too ambiguous, if the answer has not bee explicitly stated in the lectures.

Just talked to my teacher and she said that she followed the mark scheme. Also look at this aswell. I swear it's encoding

Check with your teacher if they got the right answer scheme, for example not that there is a version A and B and such.

Do check the lectures too, like the slides if they have been posted. Search for any mention of the word 'Endearing', because in this context I don't think it makes sense.

He selected Encoding but the teacher marked it as wrong and the teacher marked Endearing as the "correct" answer. The ticks in black pen are his answers and the red boxes are what the teacher marked as the "correct" answer.

Depending on the reasoning both are correct. This is why I dislike these types of answers. They do not test if you know the subject and see if you can decode the profs reasoning. Its like when people go for their first certs like A+ and the comptia stuff they have a "Best answer" usually they are pretty obvious but I remember years ago some had multiple correct answers but they are looking for a specific answer. Its been a while since I took the more basic stuff and more high level stuff is either all practical or since I get it through work its usually a seminar with me either absorbing the information or falling behind in work LOL. Request the reasoning behind it and explain your reasoning and then compare the pros of each and the cons of each and whichever is agreed upon the better one would be the answer.

I've confused myself this test is my friends he showed it to me I got I bit confused what was the teachers mark and my friends answer.

The thing that bothers me in #34 is “endearing” means to make more Dear or more beloved.

For example Kittens are endearing when they play clumsily.

Nah, if you look at the other questions there's a black tick next to all the other questions and the red tick marking it as correct is just slapped on the whole question, and there's no red box marking answers in the test on the ones he got right. The red box is only there on questions he got wrong to mark the "correct" answer.

Red pen = Teacher
Black pen = His answer
