Spartan 117 visor color

Leot1995

Hi . I was thinking of doing a Halo paintjob on my case . Most of the paint wouldn't be too difficult because it would mostly be green and grey . However the challenging part would be the center dust filter . I want to make it the same color as john 117s visor but I cannot find the official color . Some say it's gold . Some say it's copper and some say it's yellowish red aka orange . I'd also like to have the reflective effect aswel . Any ideas on how I can get the real color would be appreciated

Realistically, what "color" it is is going to be subjective to the environment that it's in, what it's reflecting, and the lighting conditions that it's under.

Official media, as well as the games themselves have several different colors and styles spanning across everything you have listed. Helmet styling has changed in multiple ways, and more than a few times since Combat Evolved.

Personally, when I think of the visor, I think of much more of an orange.

Much like this.

One way it can be made reflective would me mirror film, or two way mirror film behind a molded material of your choice (I know not how you would achieve this) There may be better options, however, this subject isn't something that I would know much more on.

Thanks . This seems like a good option . I'd try the reflective film . It's gonna cost poking allot of holes in the mesh though but it's worth a shot
