Probably what  @Princess Luna suggested.

Is it possible to pair an i5 7400k with an RTX series? Like RTX 2060 or RTX 2070 ti.

It is possible but the CPU may become a bottleneck.

I see no reason why not, unless im missing something. Should work just fine. Are you worried about bottle-necking? It may not be the best, but it'll work.

At me or quote me, I want to hear your opinion.

Hopefully anything I say is factually correct. Sorry for any mistakes in advanced.

It will def. not damage anything. It should all work fine, you just might not see the full capability's of said Gpu.

The k at the end of the name of an intel cpu indicates that it is an unlocked processor, your cpu does not have a k at the end of its name, you have an i5 7400 not an i5 7400k.

A better GPU will always lead to better performance. But in order to get the most out of A GPU you will need a good CPU.  Simply buy within your budget.

You were sold a i5 7400 nonK by the receipt.

There is no cheated... the i5 7400K models specifically you show are 'different CPU's' in the lineup of the 7000 series Intel chips.

Did you specifically state you WANT to overclock..? If you got asked about overclocking, and said yes, i'd like to,...then you got cheated,.. beyond THAT EXAMPLE, no you didn't.

Because most builders would ask, and even if not mentioned, should NOT give you a K sample if you don't need it.

So I don't see anything wrong.
K-Skews cost more also.

Don't make the mistake of thinking the K means KABYlake (I have a 4790K Haswell)

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

I can see why there may be some confusion. The sellers have them listed as an i5 7400K but the SKU # is for the i5 7400 non K. I believe Intel did not make an i5 7400K and the title of the part being shown is a bait tactic, if you go look at the specs it will show the correct product name. If you did not want the perks of a K sku CPU and paid what the CPU is worth, then I would not worry about it.
