Trying to put an ancient ethernet adapter back to work

I am currently in the middle of planning a new ethernet (with CAT6 cable for future proofing) run to multiple systems with some cheap and rather dated network switches (the host network switch is still quite modern and supports gigabit ethernet), that despite supporting 802.11n still only have "Fast Ethernet" ports (~100Mbps) and thereby as this network is certainly going to be bottlenecked by those switches, I am currently looking into the option of having one of the more data hungry systems (which happens to have a PCI slot) connect directly to the gigabit network switch so that it can better take advantage of a Steam cache server, and then sharing the connection with  this 20 year old CNet PRO200WL "Fast Ethernet" adapter which is just as fast as the network switches with the rest of the network. My issue is that as far as I can tell the most recent drivers for the card were written for windows 98, ME, and 2000. Now I understand that this is a long shot, but as a final measure before I give up on the card, I wanted to ask if anyone here possibly had a solution to get this card working with Windows 10 without constantly having a VM running in the background.

Fast Ethernet is 10/100, which is painful to use now a days.

And if the newest drivers are for W2K, it will NOT work on W10 without writing a new driver.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

It is still faster than the current Wi-Fi speeds the computer that is currently sharing it's Wi-Fi connection is only getting a ~60Mbps connection (as reported in control panel) at best, now that's painful.

That's what I figured but I posted this as a last resort anyways.

The only thing I can think of is maybe try and find newer driver from the same brand network card see if that works. But I am not farmilliar with CNet network cards are they still around?

But honestly your probably better off spending your time tracking down the different network card. Hopefully one that was main within this decade.:)

They still exist though I can only find their US website, apparently the core of the card was manufactured by Davicom Semiconductor.

Honestly though if I can't get the card to work I am not going to worry about it, it just would have been really nice if I could get it to work.

Windows 10 pretty much has default drivers that work for all old hardware.  Have you tried just plugging it in and seeing if it starts working?

Yes, I have even tried the old drivers to see if I could get it working.
