Hi I show PowerColor AMD RX 580 8GB DDR5 RED DEVIL for £120? What I want to know is this card good and the facebook guy seid 

“Unit used in a store system for demo purposes. In perfect working order, comes with original boxing” so is this good buy at £125?

the red devil is the top tier rx580, you can find it new for like £200, so £120 for a barely used one sounds good to me.

125 is outrageous for a used 580

 

You should be spending no more than ~80-100.

For demo for how long?one pc? many system? what kind of demo? benchmark? you need to know the detail between "demo" means and time too.

 

if the demo term was fine and it was good condition then 120 for 580 8GB is kinda mediocre deal. i meant it should go below 110

That's a terrible price, considering you can get new RX 580 8GB cards for 20 GBP more, or a new RX 590 for 40 GBP more

The price for a second hand card should be closer to 70-80 GBP.

MSI RADEON RX 590 ARMOR 8G at amazion for £169.98 is that good price as its the cheapest i can find brand new with free shipping.

FWIW...my thoughts would be...Powercolor = lowest level of known quality brands; so it'd need to be CHEAP!!

I have asked him about the demo and I have not yet made payment. The uk market can be dear that why i can here to ask. For my needs 1080p gaming and video converting mkv to mp4 with GPU acceleration on it should be fine. He seid "the system was seldomly on/off. Was not running 24/7 or mined. I can blow the dust but the item wont ever be as new :)"

Doing some research gtx980 is slightly better, I know it’s a bit older but still good card imo.
