RX 570 8GB still worth it?

Looking to upgrade my GPU so that Destiny 2 doesn’t run like complete arse at low 720p. I know the RX 570 came out 2 years ago but is it still worth looking into if I want an inexpensive upgrade to get the game running at recent frame rates? So preferably med-high 1080p with 40-50 FPS   minimums? I found a 8GB variant for around 200 bucks CAD and will be keeping  my current 1100T. Is this a good investment or are there better alternatives out there? 
 

I will be keeping my 1100T cause I can’t find any other compelling reason to upgrade my platform.

570 is still worth it for 100-120usd new, it's not a card i'd buy new because of how cheap and many sold last year. Look for a used deal from a good seller on ebay, chances are there's still a cpu bottleneck.

A used 570 will go for $70 USD and like $120 new.

The 8GB variant is fairly pointless, for 1080p 4GB is plenty in the vast majority of games.

You can get a 1650 super for around 200 so I would say it’s not worth it.

So the 1650 4GB is also on sale for around the same price in my area. That would be a better bet?

No, the base 1650 is worse than the 570. The 1650 super is a pretty substantial upgrade.

So I found GTX 1650 Supers in my area for around $209 - 229. But stock is a rarity so I have to keep that in mind. And the RX 570 can be had for around $170 as @Fasauceome kindly pointed out. Would you say that spending the extra 30-50 bucks for the 1650 Super is worth it? I don't game too often and my game library is small. The most demanding game being Destiny 2.

Gaming performance is probably around 10-15% better (you can find gaming comparisons on YouTube). Also the 1650s should run a bit cooler and quieter. I would personally go for the RX 570 though, if you can get it for around $170.

the 1650 super is 580 levels of performance, worthwhile step up if you want to spend the extra money

Actually only AMD has built in OC software but GPU boost ought to bring the card pretty close to its max potential

Also found a RX 590 for $239. I do plan on using this card for the next 5+ years if that makes a difference. What do you think?

The RX 590 was a bit of a miss in my opinion, just an overclocked 580 that runs really hot. Stick with the 1650 super unless you're spending extra on the 1660
