What are some items that you have found with a price that makes you facepalm? Here is my latest discovery

OR a LGA 775 system that I found on Craigs List that had a core 2 duo and 512 mb of ram, 30gb hdd all for a good price of $600

Someday, somewhere, a state worker is going to need his computer fixed. The technician finds that the hard drive is broken and gets takes down the model number. The model number is then put on a list on things that need to be bought. Then as some other person is getting the parts they look for it on a list of their approved vendors, ah newegg is one of them. Being a few years down the line no one else really sells the drive anymore but all the guy ordering off the list knows is that someone needs this specific type of drive. And that is what I can guess what will happen having worked with the DOE in my school's IT department.

And you know what, the minimum wage in Hong Kong is $4, and we got first runner up for the property prices in Asia.

Apple laptop from 9 years ago with a powerpc g4 processor (meaning you can't run jack sh*t on it in 2014) for 300$. 80gb hard drive and 2gb of ram on craigslist... a freaking chromebook would be better than that! There is a ton of other computer related crap that is ridiculously overpriced on craigslist.
