I discovered this cpu recently and was amazed of how unknown and unheard of this cpu actually is. It's 14 cores/28 threads cpu with all cores 5ghz. It's selling only on auctions so price is not defined but it goes up to a few thousands. I found only der8auer talk about it and he's not that big youtuber. Should we tell Linus about this somehow so he may actually gets 1 of these( and hopefully not dropping it)

Yeah you can tell linus about it, but hornestly it´s a bit stupid CPU on a dead or at least dying platform in my opinion. Sure you have 14 cores/28 threads at 5 GHz max boost clock and that is where the line snaps. The rest of this CPU is stupid in my opinion. Prices are way to high, aviability is very low, it runs hot AF, consumes power like a alcoholic drinks he´s alcohol and needs beefy custom water loop to keep temps under control.

Not a CPU i would chose. At these price points, a Threadripper based on Zen 2 is way better choise or wait until intel comes out with 10 NM or heck just get the Xeon W-3175X in this price category seems more sensible.

I know it's not good for everyday use but I want to see how good does it works. Some gaming and rendering benchmarks won't hurn anyone.

This CPU is sold for a particular use case: HFT. In that use case, nothing AMD has even comes close to it. To say it is stupid in other use cases is totally missing the point for its existence. Kinda like when Linus tried to game on a Xeon Phi.

Anyway, Anandtech did review it previously:
