That'll be fine aslong as you're not planning to overclock. Hell even the stock cooler would be enough if you dont overclock.

Stock cooler runs a little hot. Seen some 3800x reaching 90 degrees with the stock cooler. Wanted a cooler that keeps the CPU cool.

Why not save up for better cooler so you're certain to end the heat issues?

Yeah. My plan was the dark rock 4. I think I'll stick with it.

The DR4 is great if you're aiming for something quiet. There are usually better performers for the price if you're aiming for low temps though.

It has 2 fans and is excellent.  The one one without the 2nd fan is not as good.

Could you elaborate that? I do not think the difference between the two is significant. Although the extra fan can be installed as case fan, so it might worth the price.

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )

There are reviews on Youtube and in articles (I don't remember where) where the Duo had a clear performance advantage over the single fan version.

The difference was noticeable.   Search on youtube for:  arctic freezer 34 esports duo

I'm not sure the second fan would work out as a case fan.  The Duo costs like $5 or $6 more than the one with just one fan.  You don't get good case fans for $5 or $6.

It's just a standard 120mm case fan and is also sold separately as one.

Arctic Bionix P120 PWM PST is the fan included with the freezer 34 Esport...

FOr such a slim tower, 2 fans really not make that much a difference, though the extra fan is indeed very useful for improving overall case ventilation..
