it looks odd but not enough to obviously be a scam:

MSI Radeon rx 580 armor 8g oc for $156.6

XFX Radeon rx 580 GTS XXX edition 8G for $159

on ebay

 

VS

 

PowerColor red dragon Radeon rx AXRX 570 OC for just about $160

on amazon

 

i mean, i do want to upgrade at the same cost (waiting is not a problem for me) but it looks too good to be true, especially when on amazon the rx 580 is around the $205

rx580 average is 165€. Dont see any serious savings here.

its not, the first one is used with a lot of 4 and 5 stars, but 3 or 4 1 stars, which isnt a lot but should see them

the second one is open box "like new condition"

the third one is the weirdest with "lightly used adult owned" open box

Those are normal prices here,  no one really wants an outdated rx card at this point I suppose,  gtx 1060 is also around 100 euros cheaper than it was 8 months ago or so.  Those "midrange" cards are now low end,  it's not a "scam".   

 

It's a scam to sell them for more than 200 though!

Pricing doesn't seem too enticing. You should be able to get those cards cheaper than that.

I'd consider waiting for Black Friday and buying something from the US, the using one of those companies that collects the product and ships it abroad. Though, you'll have to research which one is the best deal for you based on where you live, factor in duties, etc. You also won't be able to use NewEgg.
