I love the Crysis 3 Multiplayer so I say get Crysis 3. This is a bias opinion though because I haven't played Tomb Raider yet. You could wait for the Steam Summer Sale(SSS LOL) to get both of them

Tough choice, Both games are great games, Tomb raider has a great story line to it, Crysis 3 looks so good and the multiplayer gaming is cool. If you want a great story line, I would say get Tomb Raider, if you like online multiplayer gaming , go with Crysis 3

Story wise Tomb Raider wins by a mile. It was a very fun game to play. Crysis 3 on the other hand has MP. I really don't play MP much on any game but if you do then get Crysis. And, the story in Crysis isn't half bad either. Definitely better then most FPS games

It's been a great time for pc games lately. I remember it wasn't that long ago we weren't getting any innovations in graphics and it was just a parade of generic games... So many options right now.

To fully understand Crysis 3 you need to play 1 and 2. And Crysis 3 is an first person shooter while Tomb Raider is a 3rd person shooter so gameplay is completely different. Story and gameplay wise, I liked Tomb Raider more! But IMHO, the graphics of Crysis 3 are more superior. But to enjoy the great graphics, you need a GPU strong enough to max it out!

Overall, I would choose Tomb Raider over Crysis 3

Kind of a pointless argument now that you got them both, but I definitely prefer Tomb Raider, it was a surprisingly good game, I didn't find Crysis 3 very interesting, about the level of Crysis 2 and it felt like it was all about graphics and nothing else. Now that you got them both you might as well tell us your opinion xD.

Tomb Raider by far the best choice, great story line and kinda addictive. I just found myself bored after playing Crysis 3 for a while. As far as I've tried to play TR online I've never found any online match, so dont know how good it is.

I agree, you'd need to know what had transpired in Crysis and Crysis 2 to appreciate the storyline. As for graphics, that's a tough one, TR requires a pretty good GPU to max out, but Crysis 3 is even more demanding. A GTX680/HD7970 cannot max out the game @1080P......yes, some may say, "But I have it maxed out and it runs fine on my GTX680/HD7970". I beg to differ, while ingame setting may be at Very High, I do believe FXAA is being used, that doesn't count as 'maxed ou't to me, it has to be MSAA set to the highest possible ingame. MSAA is a real framerate killer for Crysis 3.....

I have a GTX 660 Ti and i can run Crysis 3 @ 40fps with 4x MSAA. (mine is overclocked) All other settings are maxed out. So i do think a GTX 680/R7970 can handle Crysis 3 with 8x MSAA With frame rates around 50.

I will rerun Crysis 3 on my FX8350 @4.45ghz + 2x GTX670, it was very choppy at max setting.....possibly due to unoptimized drivers at launch. I have the 320 Beta, will install and try it......my numbers should easily surpass yours......

Holy mother......you guys have some awesome computers.....I have a question, once I upgrade (using steam for my games) How many times can I redownload all my bought games? Can't stick with a toshiba forever :P

You can re-download steam games unlimited times.

Just make sure you don't lose your steam account details. When you upgrade to a new computer, download steam, log in, and you can access all your games once again. (before switching computers backup your saves just incase ;) )

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

If you're into MP, Crysis 3 is the better choice. Tomb Raider has a stellar single player though.
