More watts and rgb for less and 10 year warranty. Would take the thermaltake.

Normally I would recommend the Corsair HXi but for $10 less the Thermaltake unit kinda makes more sense despite being slightly inferior to the HXi, with regards to build quality. Still a decent enough PSU though.

Yeah i was about to ask that. You dont need a 1050w psu for single gpu, if you have dual gpu and like rgb go for that thermaltake. If you have one gpu and yoi like slightly better quality and want more popular brand go for corsair.

It's not about my components, from the warranty perspective, isn't 5+ more year warranty , 250+ more watt,10$ less expensive isn't worth considering?? (Forget about RBG, i got excited because of more watt and warranty) isn't 5 year more warranty huge?

I merely said that the Corsair is a slightly higher quality unit.

I also asked what you are trying to power with these units, as for the most common gaming systems including up to 9900k+2080Ti’s you’d still not need 750W. And you didn’t answer  ?

yes, go with the thermaltake if that warranty is important to you.

That's why I mentioned (In my country) ... If both had 10 year warranty I wouldn't have asked in forum... I would blindly consider Corsair even if it has 250 less wattage...but you know, 10 year is huge... Almost a generation.

You could even go with a Corsair RMx or RMi of 650W and have plenty.

but out of the 2 psu’s you mentioned I’d go with Corsair.

That's why I mentioned (In my country) ... If both had 10 year warranty I wouldn't have asked in forum... I would blindly consider Corsair even if it has 250 less wattage...but you know, 10 year is huge... Almost a generation.

Maybe it's a mistake from the website because Corsair has a 10 year warranty for this PSU https://www.corsair.com/fr/en/Categories/Products/Power-Supply-Units/hxi-series-config/p/CP-9020073-EU#tab-tech-specs

It's not mistake, somehow whatever the worldwide warranty is, they are providing 5 year for Corsair and 10 year for Thermaltake...

Doesn't the manufacturer warranty apply above the retailer warranty ?

I know that...but I can't help because I don't own the retail shop... It's not like they don't offer 10 year warranty to any product, it just happened to corsair... Maybe they will fix it in future but that would be too late for me, by that time I would have already bought either of the two...

Well since it's 1k less for more power and 10 years warranty you should go for it :)

The store has nothing to do with the warranty. The warranty is from Corsair, not the store.

The Toughpower lacks multi rail, doesn't have software monitoring, uses a fan that has RGB instead of being good, is louder, and uses a less common pinout, so finding custom cables is more difficult.

That's what I wanted to know... I am going with Corsair no matter 5 or 10 year warranty...

Do keep in mind that you don't need anywhere near 850W for a 2080 Ti anyway. A good 550-650W PSU is already more than enough.

For what it's worth, wanted to chime in.  You'll be covered for the 10 years with the HXi model direct through Corsair if you go forward with it.  Should anything come up, feel free to reach out to me, or our support team, and we'll get you taken care of.
