if the gpus are gt710s then sure.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

It's Gigabyte G750H. I was formerly in Tier A at one point and the GPU's are a 2070 MSI card and a 3070 FE card.

Should be fine if you power-limit them (i'm assuming you're gonna be mining).

I do mine with both and game on the 3070 but the 3070 FE is only temporary since my sister's PC build lacks any type of storage until it ships in so I at least have the 3070 for 1 month. When I mine on the 2070 and game on the 3070 it holds up pretty well afaik in Smite. I am thinking of getting my own 3080 and selling the 2070 down the line.

I wonder if my occasional ctd's with my 5950x/3080ftw3 could be caused by my EVGA g5 850w.

Thinking of swapping it out for a corsair RM

I got the EVGA SuperNOVA 550 GA Power supply.  it currently is in Tier B, but in the section (minor issues or lack of info).  Should I be concerned?

We don't know but it's an ACRF PSU, essentially just fansied up G1+ so it's not a particularly fit PSU for RTX3080 anyway.

There were some issues with the line before, we assumed that they're all fixed because they are in Leadex III ARGB judging by reviews.

Depends on your PC, it's a budget unit from Andyson, okay for something budget. It's there because there are no reviews on it.

Thats the P-GM. The "-" For where the wattage numbers go.

And its currently in tier E due to widespread issues. Including but not limited to:

Sparks, DOA, Killing components (when failing) , and a not properly set OTP/OPP.

If you are looking at a higher end build, take a look at a tier A PSU. Quite a few of them can be had for a reasonable price.

1000W version may actually be fine, they've used different MOSFETs (Infineon IIRC), but i'd rather keep it in tier E until that's proven, i.e until Aris gets and tests a sample.

If you're asking why it's not marked as gold, there are almost no reviews on Prime Gold including rebrands, definitely none with protections testing, which is a requirement for gold color. Otherwise it's fine PSU, not 'the best' as some might imply and there are usually better choices (Corsair HX for example) but if it's relatively cheap for a 1kW PSU why not.

Corsair RM850x 850w vs ASUS ROG Strix 750w?

850w somehow cheaper than the 750w but white, still worth going for?

Useful threads: PSU Tier List | Motherboard Tier List | Graphics Card Cooling Tier List ❤️

Reliability was a key thing and its my second car, working pretty well for its 6 years age xD

We've seen it's internals, Silverstone showed some nudes on the product page. But this is a new Enhance LLC resonant, DC-DC platform without any reviews on it.

6 months on, and I need to ask the question - has there been any newer information / thoughts on this PSU?

As it's been the only high-power PSU for SFF systems for a long time, I'm surprised to find basically no reviews on it. I've found more reviews for no-name trash parts, compared to this lol.

My PC draws 680watts under load, so I need .... something bigger than a 750Watt really.

Edit - Oh, turns out that someone did a review literally today haha - https://www.thefpsreview.com/2021/06/17/silverstone-sx1000-1000w-sfx-l-power-supply-review/

Not sure how reliable the source is, nor how it stacks up, but I'm sure someone here who is more knowledgeable will have some feedback on it.

RM-x 850W is cheaper than ASUS version of Seasonic Focus Gold 750W ? And you're asking what's better ? RM-x obviously, even if they were the same price and wattage really.

There was a brief YT review by Aris but no article yet, although from the video it sounded like Aris mostly liked the unit. It has problems with OTP (it's either set higher than 200°C making it essentially useless or doesn't work at all), and OPP (which is set way too high, especially for SFX PSU), but it's probably not a bomb, assuming you really need a SFX(-L) PSU with more than 750W then it should be fine.

I edited my original post with this - https://www.thefpsreview.com/2021/06/17/silverstone-sx1000-1000w-sfx-l-power-supply-review/

Seems it got released today (wasn't sure if you read my post before or after I edited it)

Browsing through prebuilts w psu's i should go for. Currently a white Corsair RM850x or a ASUS ROG Strix 650 at the moment.
