Can you flash a BIOS update to a motherboard without the CPU?

I am planning a build and plan to use the "Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4" Motherboard. While it does support the AM4 socket, if I buy it through Amazon it needs a BIOS update to work with the CPU I plan to use, which is the AMD Ryzen 5 2600. Is it possible to flash a BIOS update without a CPU in it and how do I do it? Thank you!

If it supports USB flashback, yes. If not, no.

no, that board does not support BIOS flashback.

Oh yeah oops. But yeah I might get the 2600 just so I don't have to worry about BIOS.

for gigabyte it need to have q flash plus...the normal q flash still needs the cpu and ram installed...

for msi you need the boad to have flash bios button...if not it still need the cpu and ram installed...
