What is the best gpu to pair with a intel core i7 930?

I have a core i7 930@stock and is it good?

ram is 8gb

currently i have a amd radeon hd 7000 gpu (i know its bad)

what gpu should I pair my cpu to?

With a i7 930, i would look at a rx 570 !

first of all, it is definitely overclocking time. secondly, at this point i would suggest trying to update your platform

Can't go wrong with the old RX 470/570. Generally best budget cards out there.

It's a 930, and there's also no such thing as an RX 970

Yeah i meant an rx 570, my bad didn't realise I put a 9 there, mind must have been somewhere else

I think gtx 1060~1660 ti or rx 470~590 would be ok..

A 1060 or 1660 ti would most likely bottleneck quite a lot!

Nah..when he's gonna upgrade the cpu,ram, motherboards..he won't need to get another gpu this way..haha

Yeah that's true, if he's looking to upgrade in future then yeah probably look at a few of the cards you mentioned. haha

What is your budget?  Are you planning on upgrading the CPU soon, if so when?
