Nutcoin is a relatively new cryptocurrency with a fresh idea. This coin is just over 1 month in existance and no premined coins. Currently we have a dedicated core group of miners and for now we've got net hash rates on the lower end of the spectrum, which for now makes this coin perfect for anybody wanting to CPU mine, cudamine or mine with an older card. As of this time, we are not currently on any exchange and any mining is being done totally speculatively in anticipation of an exchange release soon. After having mined this coin myself for just over three weeks now, I can tell you that all systems appear to be up and fully functional with no wallet glitches. Please come check us out:

Thank you for spreading the word and sharing this information. There will, and always will be skeptics. Don't allow the rhetoric to detour you. Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin all had and still have their skeptics and then there are those chosen few that jump at early opportunities and ride the wave.

Yeah, alot of people use asic based processors for bitcoins.

Personally once I get my 780ti's I'll mine a few of these and wait for the value of them to increase. :D

//CCap

So that's what ASIC miners are then? Just CPU miners?

http://www.butterflylabs.com/ These are "Asic" cards and processors designed specifically for btc.

Correction. designed just for SHA256. Any SHA coin can be mined with them. Just not scrypt or scrypt-jane.

Ya know? I can remember a few years ago when I was skeptical about Bitcoin too... I was wrong that time. :blink:

yeah, that's ture. But I'm prety sure nothing will ever take off as much as Bitcoin/Litecoin again.

Dogecoin just took off, because stupid 4Chan and Reddit users spamed the whole intenet with it.

And because it's based of, off the stupidest meme ever known to mankind.

I hope you noticed that this is totally being done on speculation  and if it turns out to be nothing, all I've lost is my time and electricity, but if it turns out to be something, I've already got +5M coins and I've opened wallets for each of my three kids and I've given each 1M Nutcoins. The thing is, how often do you really get the chance to be in on the ground floor of something that has the potential to actually turn into who knows what? There is an old saying, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained." I also have a risk taking personality.
