Whats a good way to keep my Surface Pro 4 charging cable from breaking?

Hi, just got my hands on a Surface Pro 4 + brand new aftermarket charger but the cable is still not in an amazing position so im looking for tips on how to reinforce it. If you have any tips i would love to hear them and the ups and downs of those solutions :)

Thanks for the help in advance! :D

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I got a couple of suggestions, but be warned neither of them are pretty, Option A. (recommended for braided cables) Hot Glue, as hot glue is flexible, cheap, and is absorbed by the cable while also being re-applicable, I find that it is a great way to reinforce braided cables. Option B. electrical tape, as electrical tape is flexible, and cheap I find that it is a good solution for reinforcing standard rubber cables. (P.S. if you want something hard and moldable another option is Sugru, this works well as a last ditch option as long as you can get the cable in the desired position before it sets)

its quite tight between the cable and the surface as the cable comes straight up or down along one of the sides. Sugru looks interesting but the only options for a similar material is like €7 which is a bit much tbh
