Where did you see H370 board? In past reviews it has only used a crappy H310 board

and aside from the bad airflow case and unsatisfying PSU (for the price) it's a good deal. In other words, good for ripping components out of.

When the overpowered gaming lineup dropped, its value was panned universally and Walmart was forced to drop the prices. Now it's a decent buy, but be aware of some of the terrible build choices they made like crappy motherboard, single channel ram, and glued in USB header. Swapping the motherboard, getting a new PSU like a Corsair CX550, and second ram dimm helps a lot.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Moved to Laptops and Pre-built systems.

Walmart is still selling those things? If you're interested in buying them then check out these videos first (plus other reviews on youtube which also had issues).

IIRC the H310M motherboard was only on the DTW1. The DTW2 and DTW3 were supposed to be H370 boards. Of course Gamers Nexus ordered a DTW3 but got sent a DTW1 instead, which is why theirs came with a H310M.
Either that or they changed to H370 boards after backlash... I know I've got a post about it somewhere...

Also, garbage PSU and garbage mobo. Both are a failure waiting to happen, and if the USB connectors are permanently locked into the mobo as some OP PCs were...

Oh, wow! It was 2 left when I opened the link a few minutes ago. I guess someone saw that 1080Ti and just couldn't help themselves.
The DTW3 was $2,099 at first release, then dropped to $1,699 after people complained. Down to $999 is a big drop. They must be clearing out whatever has been sitting on shelves since launch.

@Jurrunio

Yep, found an old image of the DTW2. Was Gigabyte H370 DS3H motherboard and dual channel memory on the DTW2 and DTW3 (unless they shipped you a DTW1 by mistake). Not a great motherboard, but as far as prebuilts with a locked CPU go it's fine (at least it's ATX so easily replaced if needed). Much better than the H310M in the DTW1.

Yeah.

The mobo, GPU, and CPU are worth ripping out.

I saw a review or two that said theirs did not have glued on parts.

The PSU, RAM, non NVMe SSD, and Cooling is definitely lackluster.

ps: when I posted this there were a few left in stock. Sorry for the late posting

I do not recommend you go to walmart. I have seen the website "people of walmart". American imperialism has not yet brought Walmart to my nation. When it comes we will be ready.

I've stopped going to Walmart, but that's because my old one, in a very nice part of town, was turned into a damn fortress. Automatic gates on all entrances and exits that could be closed to effectively lock people in or out and a couple of door guards who stood there blocking you in until you showed them a receipt. When you turn my store into Escape from LA, nope, done.
