So I see 5700s on Amazon for 329 right now but they are the blower cards my question... Are the blowers REALLY that bad that id be worried about putting one in an ITX build I already have anyway or not?

I have an ITX 9400F intel system that I might want to move my RTX 2060 out of and put that card in my Ryzen 7 2700 box and I am considering putting one of these blower cards in that ITX build just cuz and I really don't do anything too intense with that system or anything would that be a good pairing or should I just drop the 5700 in my Ryzen??  Or just not buy a blower card because it will overheat and lock up my system all the time???

If the blower works anything like the old 7970's or 290X cards you'll probably be able to dry your hair after a shower with it if you turn it up. It'll be about as loud as a hairdryer too.

The blower style coolers aren't the greatest but they get the job done if keeping the card from overheating is the only goal. Just don't expect absolute silence to come with it.

All the reviews of the Navi cards that I saw, say the blower cards suck rather than blow... By this I mean, heat is terrible, and they are even louder. Check out Gamers Nexus on the Youtubes. Pretty sure hes done a breakdown of the good and the bad on the 5700 and 5700XT cards. Think the Sapphire pulse is one of his faves

I'd only get a blower style card if you were going to liquid cool it. The Navi cards have had some terrible reviews regarding their blower style coolers.

If you replace the thermal pads that AMD uses, with decent thermal paste, the temps drop considerably, and the blower fan will run MUCH quieter. It will still be slightly louder than a non-blower, but it will easily work quite well, and in general the blowers are better overall for ITX if you don't mind a little bit more noise.
