Is it possible to repair my broken monitor (Acer predator XB241H)

Timmarh

I was watching Linus's video on repairing the broken monitor.
Video:

So I was wondering if I could fix my broken one as well.

I think I have found the right panel, but I am wondering if it is too broken?

Panel: AUO M240HW01 V8

The monitor has power, and is detected when I plug it into my PC.

If anyone has any ideas that would be greatly appreciated.

Panels are like 200 usd in retail. If you think its too broken, just disassemble the panel and check if there is any damage under the panel.

What do you mean by damage under the panel?

I think he is refering to the electronics that drive the monitor. You need to know what parts you need, so you need to know if you need any of the electronics or just the panel.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Yep. Make sure that it doesnt look damaged. Because it looks like someone got pissed and put their fist thru that screen pretty hard.
